How To create a seamless pattern using Adobe Illustrator

Last week I showed you how to CREATE A PATTERN SWATCH and this week, as promised, we are going to take it a step farther and create a SEAMLESS pattern swatch. A seamless pattern allows you to have an design that's not symmetrical but repeats without a visible "seam" in the pattern.

This is a great tutorial. Much easier than I've seen in the past. The X - Y axis is the way to go for perfectly lining up the vectors.

Great tutorial, I've been struggling to make seamless patterns for a while and have tried many different methods including Mad Pattern but this is far and away the best method I have found yet. Thanks!
